The holidays are behind us, spring is still a bit away and winter peacefulness has settled into Gatlinburg and the Smoky Mountains. If you’re looking to enjoy the area during the slower time, February is the perfect month to visit the Smokies. Here are 4 things to consider adding to your itinerary this February!
1. Have Snow Much Fun at Ober Gatlinburg
Tennessee’s only ski resort sits about downtown Gatlinburg and is a spot that you won’t want to miss during your time in the Smokies this February. 2. Take a Winter Hike

Taking a winter hike is an excellent way to soak up the peacefulness of the season and enjoy the trails without the crowds. Little River Trail, Albright Grove, Chestnut Top, and Old Settlers Trail are a few examples of trails that are worth exploring in February.
3. Gatlinburg Winter Magic Self-Guided Tour
